Established in 1955, Boles Engineering was founded by George Lester Boles (Alabama Certification No. 2055), formerly County Engineer of Macon County, Alabama.
In 1975 the company moved to Lee County, near the Opelika-Auburn area, where it continues to serve Lee, Macon, and surrounding area counties with all types of civil engineering and land surveying services.
Civil Engineering services include, but are not limited to, anything necesarry to produce complete plans for urban or rural subdivisions, streets, sanitary and storm sewers, water detention/retention facilities, ponds, etc., for residential, commercial, or industrial purposes.
Land surveying services offered cover the full spectrum. No job is too large or too small, from mortgage surveys and family subdivisions, to timber surveys running to hundreds or thousands of acres. Boles Engineering is equipped with electronic total stations and survey-grade GPS equipment able to handle it all.
The two professions combined under one roof integrate to produce a package of complete services, beginning with boundary surveys and topographic work, through engineering design services, to construction staking for new buildings and infrastructure improvements.
Our years of operation in this area give us a considerable depth of experience and familiarity with local conditions, and we are well acquainted with the local planning, engineering, and government authorities, as well as local title professionals and attorneys connected with the real property business.
